Description of the intervention or exposure
Users on an online RedCap app enter clinical or research Wheelchair Skills Test (WST) data (that takes about 30 minutes to complete) and/or Wheelchair Skills Test Questionnaire (WST-Q) data (that takes about 10 minutes to complete) reflecting the test subject's capacity, performance, confidence and/or frequency for each of 30 individual wheelchair skills. The Manual describing the two tests and the forms used can be found at https://wheelchairskillsprogram.ca/en/skills-manual-forms/. The WST and/or WST-Q may be administered by a clinical or research tester or may be self-administered.

Statistical methods / analysis
Categorical and quantitative data from the questionnaire will be reported descriptively. The Shapiro-Wilk test will be used to assess the normality of continuous variables. Continuous variables will be summarized as means (SDs) if approximately normal or medians (interquartile ranges [IQRs]) if skewed. Categorical variables and ordinal scores for individual skills will be summarized as frequencies with percentages. Likert scores will not be treated as continuous variables except for the calculation of summary scores for individual skills and total percentage WST and WST-Q scores.

To assess the internal consistency of the total percentage WST and WST-Q scores, as a reflection of reliability, we will use Cronbach’s alpha. To assess concurrent validity, we will perform Pearson or Spearman correlations among the total percentage WST and WST-Q scores. To identify predictors of the total values, we will treat each of the total percentage WST and WST-Q scores as dependent measures and use appropriate demographic elements about the person entering the data (e.g., region of the world, age, gender, setting, age groups served) and person whose data have been entered (e.g., diagnosis, age, gender, caregiver characteristics) as independent measures.
