There are three ways to add results and documents (e.g. protocols, statistical
analysis plans, conference abstracts) to your registered ANZCTR record:
1. Let the ANZCTR find your publications
- Include your ACTRN in all published materials (e.g. protocols, conference
abstracts, journal articles)
- If your publication is indexed in a trusted database (i.e. Embase or
Dimensions AI), it will automatically appear in your trial record
- Log in to your ANZCTR account to remove any incorrect or unrelated
documents in step 12
2. Upload or link to your results
Go to Step 12 - Study results and click ‘Add new study result’. You can:
- Upload a PDF of the results and other trial documents (e.g. protocols,
statistical analysis plans)
- Add a Digital Object Identifier (DOI)
- Provide a citation
3. Use the ANZCTR results template
If your results are not yet published, you can still report them using the Results Reporting template:
- Include participant baseline data
- Include trial outcome data
- Upload the completed template under Step 12: Study results.
