Overweight, pre-pubertal, caregiver able to attend sessions and read and understand English.

Key exclusion criteria
BMI Z score > 4.0, syndromal obesity, medications influencing weight gain/loss, physical/developmental disability, chronic illness , significant dietary restriction, sibling enrolled.
